Further to the earlier thread about these annoying gaps in my audio recording (which I have still not sorted!!) I have an alternative idea!

I will just ignore my old knackered pc at home and try to use my works laptop - I've just got a new one. Problem is - how do I effectively record audio onto a laptop which has no obvious input for audio???

There is no headphone jack sized socket in the back. Can you record audio into USB or there seems to be a 7 pin DIN type plug?

Yes - you can get USB (and firewire btw) audio interfaces.

Griffin I think do a cheap one at argos, but if you want better quality, look at M-Audio or Edirol (think Edirol also do a cheapish 16 bit one) ;)
