Cant hear properly!

Dont say its my age :naughty: ;)

Right, basically, today I have had my new PC (thanks Woody) :love: set up

and since it has been up and running I can hardly hear my music . The icon on bottom right of screen for volume is set to max, the speakers themselves dont have a volume adjustment on but were always ok before with old pc, and the winamp window volume fader is also set to max, yet I can barely hear the music :confused:

Any ideas? :confused:

Start > Control Panel > Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices

Then a little window will pop up. Click Advanced on the in the middle where it's marked Device Volume. That should open another window with loads of sliders on it that you can arse about with.

I use this to pump up the volume, might help? Also do you use winamp? if so check the volume on it, if volumes down on mine it turns the sound down on my whole pc.

yeah ive just got them plugged into back of pc :)

the winamp volume is up to max :) will have a look at what you posted though, thanks :thumbsup:
