William orbit has a new album out. To me he is an absolute legend and probably my biggest musical hero. What a discography the man has. With remixes of tracks by everyone from adamski, madonna, prince, pierre henry etc. Strange cargo - hinterland is my number one all time solo album. I can't think of many artist that I can say make 'beautiful' music without it sounding cliched and corny. I love him what can I say can't wait to hear this album.

lol got a funny story about William orbit
Was Djing at a club where i was resisdent back in about 94 when we had Paul Gotel booked (Well Hung Parliament,Power Promotions etc etc). Any ways i got talkin to the guys he had brought down with him while he was playing. Had a few drinks and was chattin for a few hours the usual music shit with them, got on really well and we all seemed to click. Later as the night finished Paul Gotel got paid we all said our goodbyes etc etc. Was gettin my tunes from the console and said to the guy who ran the club how friendly i thought they all were and he just looked at me and grinned. 'You didnt know who that was did ya?' he added. 'Ben Chapman and William Orbit!':|
Was well pissed of as wouldve at least thanked em for the gr8 tunes they had made, but suppose thats why we had a good chat lol. V nice guys

love Orbits stuff and Water from a Vine leaf is one of my all time 'good memory' tunes:thumbsup:

i love stories like that. Love it when people don't actually say who they are or feel they have to say who they are etc. Reminds me of a certain member of this site ;)
