The bit in bold is the problem hun

As you are now with ntl, you'll need to change your e-mail settings.

Here's ntl's standard settings:

Incoming mail (POP3) pop.ntlworld.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) smtp.ntlworld.com

as BJ states thats the problem but im guessing you aing got a clue how to change these settings lol

This will be in the Tools \ accounts

properties on the mail connection and change the settings in there :)

I presume you're using Outlook Express?

If so:

Tools>Accounts>
Pick account name
Then 'Properties'
Choose the 'Servers' Tab

You should see this screen:

email_settings.jpg

That's where you enter the POP3 and SMTP settings

:)

Oh, and as you've had previosuly a freeserve account, I'm not 100% sure on this, but you might have to check e-mails for that using webmail, unless they allow other ISP's to access their mail servers, never used them so not sure on that.
