The claim was going to be rejected (repudiated in insurance speak) because he had declared on his policy and helath policies that he did not smoke. Smoking in a house is still one of the main causes of house fires although also beware of old fridges, washing machines and electrical installations. If you live on a main (ish) road then to garage the car WILL reduce the premium however being lazy we dont use our garage and declare both cars as street parked.</p></blockquote><p></p>
