How great is all the food thats available at this time of year! Massive fuck off ham piecies with cloves in them, mini sausages, smolked salmon, ace cheese, phesant,mince pies, christmas pud, yule log, loads of tins of things like Roses and Celebratins, dips, twiglet stylee muncies, and not forgetting all the booze.

Champers for Christmas morning, good quality red, loads of spirits.

How can anyone not love Christmas!

Funny thing is, i am always sick of eating by Jan :)

i have to say i love all the nibbles and stuff...but i find im usually too full on xmas day to eat much past my dinner haha!!!

i like my nuts and cheeses the best.....aww got a strawberrytrifle and chocolate trifle too!!!

didnt go overboard cus i always end up wasting it all!!! :p

Must be posh round your way Amelie, we just get a few extra flavour Biscuits For Cheese tins and some imported cakes in every language but English with a paper stick on label saying what it is on! hahahaha.

Its good innit :thumbsup:, going a bit crazy and having something unusual or lush you wouldnt ordinarily get :D , having more snacks and beers, odd cheeses, dates, and stuff like Gateux and yule logs etc....:p .

Ony trouble is, shifting the bulge after christmas :$ .


Even the eternally miserable sirius is getting a bit excited now! lol

On the subject of food im shocked about the amount of stuff ive tried this year since giving up smokin that i like now. Stuffed olives, parsnips, some soft cheeses and salmon. Last year i wouldve chucked lol

just out of interest what difference has it made giving up smoking :confused: i mean to the degree that you now like these food stuffs.....cus tbh......i dont think anything would make me like these regardless :p :cool: :cool: :cool:

Since i gave up my whole diet has changed lol
Now anything that is bad for me and has a strong taste is in. My tastebuds pick up on different parts of the flavor, especially sweeter parts dont know why but things arnt as bland:) And ive put on 2 stone lol :$

i gave up last yr for 9 mths and didnt notice anything......... :(

Perhaps we should have a OSA weigh in tomorrow and another in a few weeks to see who ate all the pies. I havent won anything in ages, i can taste the victory mmmm lol

Badminton! far too strenuous lol Though i will be going out on Boxing day to 'burn' a few calories off so im lookin forward to that ;)

We will be having loads of goodies :D no turkey for Dinner though, I had enough of turkey when I was little. It used to amaze me how many things my mum or nanna would do with the left overs and we ate it for days. So we have 2 joints of meat this year it's lamb and beef. I will be eating plenty of cheese as well, morrisons have started doing this new one Cheddar with pickled onion it's yummy and ya cant beat a bit of stilton.
