Thought it best to blag the day off today, it is summer after all.. three choices for today...

1. Sit in front of pc, tunes on - smokin
2. Paint the outside of my house
3. make a start ripping cd collection to pc

No point in making it just one day, a lot of companies count a sick day as one instance, so one day / one week etc may count as one instance

So, dont just take the day, better make it three at least, but not 5, because you need a doctors note

Looking at it that way you could clear off to London and go record shopping, or bugger off to Ireland on the piss

Make sure you dont take a company car though like I did once, I almost crashed it in the snow, would have had to lie my bollocks off to explain that one

We were discussing duvet days at work yesterday! Apparantly some places allocate a certain number of days per year called duvet days where you can just ring in and say 'not coming in today, can't be arsed'.

I took the afternoon off yesterday cause of the weather. Ended up sat outside boozers for the afternoon.

This is indeed true!! Some Local authorities have "duvet days" however not MCR i hastened to add!! Typical Local Authority policy, as if things aren't easy enough as it is!!!

A lot of Housing Assocaitions have this poilicy as well
