Hi All

I thought I’d let you know that Class of 88 – The True Acid House Experience (Special Edition Paperback) is now available exclusively at www.cafepress.com/classof88 The Special Edition is totally revised and contains many new stories never seen in the public domain.

Virgin originally censored the stories as they thought they were encouraging readers to indulge in drug rituals…I obviously disagreed as I feel that nothing encourages people to take drugs more than the media…that said they were the publishers and I wanted my story to be told. Well now after nearly 8 years I’m proud to announce the book is exactly how it should be, though I have made lots of changes…Enjoy

Wayne Anthony

PS: Please tell all your friends or even email them and let them know…thanks

Is the new one an actual book, or is it pdf format?

I got the old version off ebay and thought it was top, so if it's a book again, I'll buy the new-un :king:

I've got to say that hats off I really enjoyed the original of this. I've read it about 3 times now. It had me absolutely engrossed.

The good thing about it is it's written from someone who was in the thick of it. When you compare it with something like Energy Flash, which admittedly is mainly about the music rather the scene, you can tell that was written by a journalist who wasn't involved really with the scene at all. In fact Energy Flash is not only written in journalistic shite talk style (like a 70's punk fanzine), he's also bang wrong with he some of the stuff he writes as well. I couldn't read it to be honest, gave up half way.

Anyway, I was really impressed with Class of 88, and I'll no doubt be purchasing a copy of this special edition

same here  you need to convince us to part with our hard earned Wayne lad - give us a snippet of what we can expect  ;)

Yep also read it twice  I read it once then stupidly lent it out, never to be seen again, then spent about 2 years trying to find another copy (Even asked specialist book website to trace me a copy but they wanted 70 quid!!) Finally got a copy off e-bay & got the chance to read it again.

Am gonna get this new one ASAP

EDIT: Just been & checked with my copy, the new edition has more than twice the number of pages! So there must be a LOT of new stuff in it!
