We've had a massive response to our advertising, more so on other website than this one, and most of the applicants have little or no formal training. As I mentioned, this is freestlye, meaning they just do their own thing. We have a dance trainer on hand to assist in ongoing development, but the main criteria is rhythm. If the dancer can hold peoples attention, we're happy. We aim to recruit a few dancers, booking them for work which suits them. As long as we have as many as we need on the night, all is well. If she's willing to travel down to Manchester at least once a month, get her to apply. We're actually holding an advanced audition on Saturday 18th. The successful dancers will be booked for the Ignite event the following Thursday, and the Virtual Clubbing funky disco costume party Saturday 25th. (Which is a 60's/70's costume party for anybody local who would like to join us) And the VC vs Ignite event @ The Pavillion Bars Stalybridge on Thursday 16th Match. A note to anybody else... Please don't worry if you have no formal training. As long as you're a good dancer, confident and social, and don't mind attention, you have nothing to lose by coming to our auditions.
