Movin' on up.
Looking at getting some of these for the clubbing at christmas seen as the last do I went to my ears were fucked for 2 days after :|

Alpine PartyPlug ALL WHITE LIMITED EDITION | Sensorcom

Anyone ever used them? Or does anyone use cheap and cheerful earplugs when they go clubbing that they would recommend?

The company I work for make these. They are reusable and very good.

Short stemed so they don't stick out and made of clear material so that it does not look obvious you are wearing them.

E.A.R™ ClearE.A.R™ Earplugs, 1 Pair Pk for only £2.54

im not sure about the.. "designed exclusively in white it makes a great fashion statement for earplugs" part :D i always use earplugs at festivals, but only so i can get some sleep in the tent. i use the cheap yellow ones and they do the trick fine, i did get handed these at a recent festival 20 Pairs of Howard Leight Laser Lite Ear Plugs: Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools which were very comfy, i dont know about wearing them for clubbing though, i can hardley hear a thing when i have plugs in. below is a pic of how i put mine in :p

Those Howard Leights are ok for sleeping in, although I would suggest the 3M1100 or EAR Classic.

However all the above are no good for music listening as they reduce the sound way too much and block a lot of High Frequency noise.

The link to the clear ear product is the one you want. Designed for the entertainment industry. They take the edge off the noise, not block it all out. Reusable, come in a storage box and well priced also!

Hmm, they look like they could do the job :) Have you actually used them in a club? Does it muffle the sound or just make it quieter, can you hear people talking to you?

Haha Leaky! :D Yeah, I want to be able to hear the music but just protect my ears from the damaging fequencies... Got the link for the ones I posted from the national tinnitus website so I presumed they would be half decent...

They are aimed at Bar staff etc.. Made to look invisable, but allow people to still hear conversation and music, but just at a reduced volume .. . but not too quiet!

Yes I have used them when DJ'ing. . . .they work a treat.

they sound a good idea, i do like it loud, but i might get some of those for my eldest two, they often dont come into the festi tents saying its too loud, my youngest wears full cup ear defenders which really do the trick.
i will invest in some of those noise reducing ones before next summer

Brilliant! Glad I asked now, they seem like a steal at that price... shame you have to order 3 pairs min though.

Thanks Radish :D
