computer bods please help!!!!

going to upload some samples to my ebay sales

have got some webspace and was told i need an FTP is there any free and what do i do then to get the samples onto the site?????


sorry not very computer literate.

any help appreciated

go to download.com - there should be some freebie FTPers there CuteFTP springs to mind - but cant remember if its freeware or not...

there's more links as well, like understanding the file system

but if your just uploading samples go in the www folder and then upload the sample (depending on ftp proggie just right click file and select transfer)

you can make a folder called tunes or something and stick them in there

then once uploaded just put in www.yourwebsiteaddress.co.uk/tunes/sample1.mp3 etc etc

ok was told about smart ftp which looks quite good format etc...

just dont know what to do with it HELP!!!!!!

still not sure where to put the stuff to get it to the webspace.
