Hi everyone, I've just put this in the event section but thought it worth mentioning here too to catch people's attention - definitely THE party to be at if you've not got an invite for the Royal Wedding!

Connie's Acid House Party #5 - PHUTURE live + Support
Connie’s Acid Party #5, Saturday 19th May 2018, Gorilla, Whitworth Street, Manchester.
Get set for the Phuture! DJ Pierre heads back to Manchester to perform live for 5th charity fundraiser

Last year Tiny Steps charity took a giant step forward and took Connie’s Acid House Party to a new venue and to the next level, producing an immense party that people were talking about for weeks later and flooding social media with comments and videos. How on earth could we top that? Well, we think we’ve managed it as DJ Pierre returns to Manchester to play a live acid set under his Phuture guise with new partner DJ and producer Lessnoise on Saturday 19th May to raise funds in aid of a young local girl called Connie, who has a rare form of epilepsy. This night is now firmly cemented in the Manchester nightlife calendar as quite simply one of the best annual shindigs the city has to offer.

DJ Pierre shot to fame in 1986 with his original partner Spanky under the guise of Phuture, producing the monumental “Acid Trax” EP which paved the way for a new form of music and sending dance music off on a completely different tangent to where it was heading. Acid House was born, and the rest is history.

Making his debut at this event, we are delighted to welcome along Justin Robertson, back in his adopted home where he cut his DJ teeth back in the 80’s and early 90’s and now a legendary DJ in his own right. We know Justin is going to deliver the goods for us on the night!

And back by dope demand is the man himself, former Hacienda DJ and UK DMC mixing champion Chad Jackson, who never fails to set floor alight with his eclectic mix of Acid and Hacienda classics, always leaving the Connie’s crowd wanting more, so once again we’re more than happy to oblige...

Providing warm-up for the night, and after a stunning debut last year featuring a live acid / DJ set, we welcome back Manchester’s Suddi Raval & Adam Wilson who promise to give us something special to whet our appetites in the club. Also providing support will be Paul McGuinness, who played a great warm-up set in the bar last year and truly set the bar for a great night. Be early, this promises to be an amazing couple of hours!

Tickets for this unique event are £25.00 and available from skiddle.com

I think myself, you, Saysay and Cano didn't stop dancing for the fully hour and half they were on, even though they only started at 2:30 in the morning and I was only assisted by alcohol lol

What happened to u31 and Maz? They left early in the night. Think they were gone by 10:30
