cracking a programme ?

my best mate has got her wedding photos on dvd (from the photographer) which you sit and watch and then choose which ones you want, ya put ya order in and then they cost you an absolute fortune!

if the disc is inserted into a pc, all the photos are like thumbnail size and there is no way of enlarging/altering them at all so that they could be printed off (this is obviously so the photographer doesnt loose any dosh!)

so is it possible to alter/crack the disc and turn the photos into printable versions ??

any help/suggestions greatly appreciated.... thanks

Hi there,

What program does it use when it's showing you the thumbnail images?...

At a guess the images must be on the DVD somewhere but the downside ist that they may've been resized, in which case you're stuck I'm afraid.

Can you not open the DVD using Windows Explorer and take a look at what's on it?...

Have a look in there for Jpeg images.

Usually they will send you resized and compressed images so if you do try to enlarge them it would indeed resemble a page off the teletext service.

thanks guys, i havent got the disc so cant have a good butchers at it, il get mull to send it to me then il have a look and get in touch with yas to help me out!
