The winner will spend a year in curry heaven. They will win a year’s supply of Patak’s sauces, pastes, pickles and poppadums – enough for hundreds of curries. They will be invited to attend new product development days with Patak’s in their innovation kitchen where they will try dozens of new dishes and feed back their thoughts in order to help create new products and refine existing recipes

My taste in curry isn't broad enough and proper vindaloos are too hot for me. That said, Patak's is only a few miles down the road so it'd be great for traveling to. I've never rated their curries though the couple or so times i've tried them.

I've had friends who work(ed) there and they used to mix up curries in the staff canteen/restaurant to try to fine tune the flavours to their own palate.
