Can anyone give me a pretty accurate price of how much it costs to cut a piece of vinyl from a original CD.

If so where can I get it done.

Cheers in advance peeps

Dowt he got his Eclipse done there...they only do black vinyl.

There is a place that do clear vinyl, Chris (biskit) knows it cos he got somat pressed there, it was a good pressing too.

there's some German dude on the bay doing em for x-EUR, you upload to his server, he cuts.

has had some good feedback, but by the looks of it, he's got an old 1200 and bolted on a cutting lathe with some sellotape and elastic bands

bit of wow and flutter anyone? (oh ffs you pedants, warp n skippage - or whatever the equivalent vinyl terms are).

I once had a one off pressing done by a guy with one of those lathes that clamps on to a 1210... it was playable but very quiet and needed the bass and treble EQ turned up to play alongside anything else. Wouldn't really recommend it, better to go to a proper cutting place.

Hey mate,

I got 500 vinyls pressed up about 2 years ago, it cost me about £700 which included nice thick quality 12"'s plus the disco bags & a 2 sided label of my own design,

Only drawback was the time it took to get delievered! about 2 months :fekked:

It was a company called independent record pressings company ltd,

Hope that helps
