LOL! Just got back - I didn't win the tournament but I did come in an honourable third place so Darth Tig takes the bronze!!!

Not bad for someone who's only been fencing for about 8 weeks!!!!!

Nah, she came in third place for the ladies group, AND she beat me! Still - no worries eh? At least I got through the whole night without anyone trying stab me in the bollox!

When I fight I always fight to win! Had a proper tough match in the first round so instead of being all cheerful and chatty when I got there I was realy quiet and moody. Then just as we were about to fight I told the person stood next to me (loud enough for my opponent to hear) "I'm in the mood for killing someone tonight I've had a right shitter of a week!"

Proper psyched the guy out b4 the match started and I steamrolled over him, 5 - 0! He was on the defensive the entire time and didn't attack at all! After the match finished he asked me "so what happened to you this week then?" and I told him - "cock all - I was just messin with your head!"
