Legend Daz Willott of eclipse/shellys/amnesia/kinetic fame,
is moving away to Australia,so we are very lucky to be hosting his last ever set on friday 13th may.

perhaps by the sounds of it,it might be his last but one set then before illusion....we've been told by daz that he's got a job over there.

Hi Glenn, dont forget my event aswell in August which Daz is 100% booked as he is playing the last set for us with his manager (alex@illusion) mcing!!!!! lol....
seems like he's doing lots of last sets after all........

I've seen a flyer for that, is it the one which butty is playing at aswell?

aye should be a goo night . . :) i will be attending along with me records to play a nice fast set of classic happy hardcore to the UK Scene massive !! :)

p.s . . Aemelie . . lol U know nothing lol @ daz being crap . . :) obviously . . ( how many times you been out and erd him play in the last 5 years then ??? not many i bet if any )

daz played a great set last night,sound gezzer as well.

a dj that can play and mix many stlyes of olskool house,rave
which many dont or cant.

should be popping into illusion next saturday,should be great to be
back in manchester for a night out :mexican:

This guy is a top dj, cant be that shite coe of how many residency's has he had up to now, respect to the daz willot... ;)

Sorry to all, it was wrong of me to post a personal opinion of someone when it wasn't actually asked for. Whilst its perfectly acceptable for me to think what the hell i want, it is not okay for me to just have a go on here on a completly innocent thread. Glen, a huge thumbs up from me :thumbsup: for rising above it and giving a sound response despite my wrong doings, mucho respect for that.

And Ben, of corse you are right, i know nothing- nada, zilch zero. My opinions are rather daftly formed (and yet still humbly my own i appreciate) on a time in which old skool as such did not exist as such, it had no label. I have moved on musically, and my ad hoc coment was really meant to correlate with the time that was mine, and as such i agree that i have no idea how fantastish he may infact be now. As i say, my humble opinion is formed on a handfull of memories, the odd flashback and a box full of old tapes. So sorry for the offence.

Sorry Amelie my reply was prolly a bit unfair sayin u know nothing , as we are both on different sides of old skool and the scene with the age gap etc so to speak , I myself knew nothing of Daz till about 96 on wards , were as you will know of him a lot longer than i have from many years before i even got into prolly ! lol . . . . . everytime hes played for me or ive been to see him or played on the same night as him hes rocked it and always does the job and knows how to bounce a crowd for sure !!! . .and hes a sound lad to boot , wish him all the best in his new venture to Oz to live finally !! So will always get the thumbs up from me . . . . :) just thought it a bit harsh to call him shite !! cos he err isnt . . . IMO lol :) hes prolly just got a lot better over the years ;) )

Cheers for accepting my appology with the grace in which it was given :) And less of the age gap thingy! I feel like an old hag as it is without you young, flexible, lucky, time of your life shites pointing it out thanks very much :eek: :) .
