very very nearly a top top night!!! superb tunes all nite rockin from start to finish, butty and recca spot on as always, a cheeky appearance from the man like rick jones and an old skool education to all the townies from welly! hat off to the guy, what a absolutely brillant set, phat and funky, yet some "classic" old skool tunes thrown in for good measure. scratching had to be seen to be believed, think i spent half his set stood at the side of the booth eyes wide and jaw at my shoe laces!

now the gripe. the club was rammed full of idiots looking for a fight, and totally spoils what is generally a good atmosphere. the bouncers were stood at the side minding their own business instead of watching for the w@nkers causing trouble , and were too slow for my liking to sort it out. really these kind of people should be stopped at the door and told to f_ck off because if theyre not, all the good work you have done over the past few months will all be wasted, big time! no one wants to go to a club full of tw@ts (apart from david james maybe)

sort it out guys and you're on to a winner

and of course a huuuge massive shout out to all the OSA posse who turned up in full force!! love ya all!!!

Definetely agree with woody. There are too many idiots in denvers looking for a fight. When i went for the first time about a month ago me and my friends loved the old tunes etc but none of them will go back now. People dont want any bother when they go out and the atmosphere in D's is to hostile for its own good. It has the potential to be a great night. It has the possibility to be one of the best nights in manc if people organising gave a bit more notice to the clientele coming in especially not letting groups of 10 lads in which i noticed. The main bouncer there needs to screw is head on he used to work at elemental probably got rid of him as people he was letting in. Hes always too busy chatting.

Ok enough ranting lets hope the nights becomes what it can be.

Well wat can i say that aint already been said. A fantastic night right upto the trouble. Wasn't sure whether we were gonna make it after the previous nights party but did and it was well worth it.

A great set by the man Welly. Not usually my cup of tea but had a great reaction from the crowd not to mention or own danny bouncing around and after no kip the previous night

As always butty and recca played an absolute blinder but the night was made by the peeps that were there. The Mash up crew we are now known.

Big upto ya all guys ya know who ya are but spesh Tigger and S-J who both drove which saved us a lot of hassle and money. Cheers guys

A real pity about the trouble going off as it did spoil a good night spesh when it envolved some of us but lets just hope the organiser get something sorted or te night will be well and truly ruined before its even allowed to develop.

Had a truly top night even with the d1ckheads who had nothing better to do than pick fights with everyone within a 1metre radius!!!!!!!!

Didn't like the atmosphere at all right from the start, dreaded having to cross the dancefloor to the loo, was quite happy in our little corner though, if it had just been us guys it would have been fantastic!!!!!!!!!

All in all, a damn fine weekend in total, thanx to everyone who made it so.

I can't quite make my mind up about denvers, I want to like it just for the fact that butty and recca are residents but something inside makes me feel as if this night is gonna have a negative effect on the old skool scene. Now before i go on, I must add that I have had a couple of ace nights in there.
Now for some strange reason old skool attracts a load of d1cks and this is apparrent at every old skool night I have ever been to apart from GT for some strange reason. The thing with berlins is that it is every week and i know for a FACT that not only do you have clowns walkling round with the gold chains telling everyone they are from salford but you also have a load of tanked up 20 year old city and utd fans stood in opposite ends of the club. These idiots think they are football hooligans and think they have an image to protect. Now because they know this night is everyweek, it has become part of their ritual to go to the match, then all go to berlins after. Whether they are intent on going there to kick of, I seriously doubt. But the combination of all the beer, drugs, rivalry ect is going to lead to trouble. So
if the people who are responsible for this night do not act quickly, it is not going to help out all the other old skool nights. It will just make people stay
away

its not harsh at all. we (osa-ers) might not stop going but that is solely for 2 reasons. Butty & Recca.
if i didnt know them after saturdays performance there is no way on earth i would go there again, certainly not without a shed load of the boys and that would only make the situation worse.
there are not enought bouncers, & the ones that are there are scared of all the knobheads they let in so yeah i really hope the promoters read this and take note, otherwise it will be heading in the same direction as ascension....straight down the pan!!!
put it this way, it would never happen at a maximes night anymore!!!

But Nuff said now... They know what theve got to do!!!

I've only been to Denvers once for the OSA crimble bash & I had a right top time but I do have to agree with Easty that there was a load of hoolies in Stone Island.... not neccesarily young scallies but older lads who deffo looked the part. Got nowt against footies crews rowin & the like but I dont wanna see it in a club where I go to dance, smile & have a top time - leave the SI, Aqua & attitudes at home or better still for the off on match days

Sorry people, the team we're away last week, skiing in Andorra, we were updated every coupla hours & we knew there was a lot of attitude on saturday night & it broke my heart being too far away to do anything about it, I'd be interested to know whether it was just last week when there were problems or whether its each & every week that you feel there is a lot of attitude.

Reading all the comments has devastated me to be honest & the door policy is to get an awful lot tighter for we cant be having people coming out for a good time feeling threatened, cos that just isn't on. I'd rather close the club than have you's feeling like that.

We do apologise whole-heartedly & I guarantee ya its gonna be a long time until i go on holiday again!! Prescha re-opens this week, so they can have all the dickheads. Stick with us guys, we assure you this is no more than a temporary blip, we've a meeting with the owners of Denvers tomorrow & i'm gonna take a print out of all your comments & demand that something is done about the door which was obviously lax.

Gotta say I didn't actually see any trouble but when I went 2 the ladies early on in the evenin I was glad that ClaireB had come with me cos there was a group of 4 lads hanging around near the top of the stairs that made me feel more than uncomfortable, in fact I think I even commented on it at the time 2 Claire!! Glad 2 hear tho that ur gonna speak with the owners & take sum positive action that deserves a big imho!!
