can't believe this. the following conversation took place when i went to sign on today.

"oh sir do you realise that your claim was terminated at the beginning of this year"

"no of course i didn't that's why i've been getting up at 10am and coming here every fortnight"

"well sir apparently you never answered a letter they sent you and so you may not be living where you said you were and they suspect you to be in full-time employment."

"why?"

"because you haven't noticed the money not going into your account so you obviously don't need it"

"well i haven't had a bank statement but i have incurred loads of bank charges"

"you'll have to ring them up"

Did you get the name of the bozo you were speaking to?..

Sounds a little iffy that he couldn't find out more information for you or provide you with a name of someone to take things further...

I put it down to a lack of training, some of these guys are thrown on the counter after a couple of days...

thx for help phil

just got off phone. turns out i've been led right up the garden path. You are allowed to work 15 hours a week. that much i did know but what i wasn't told was that you are only allowed to earn peanuts. You get £50 a week signing on. My average wage is £66. you're not allowed to earn over £50 if you earn £45 a week they'll give you the extra £5 a week, bless them.
So basically it's better to be a bosnian working for cash in hand and fleecing our system than being honest with them and paying national insurance and tax. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

I've had years of dealin with them fakers.And the only thing I ever learnt is DIShonesty is the best policy.
Rinse em for every penny yer can cos like you see they'll rinse you first chance they get.
Like yer say, unless yer a Bosnian then yer on a winner!
