Probably be ideal for the job bod , virtual dj is easy enough to use although ive never managed to get the video part of it to work yet and ive had loads of versions , i think its ok for what you want it for but there pretty small units as is the hercules midi controller , the behringer tina has is nice as its a bit bigger and looks a bit more robust , mixmag is full of midi controllers in the back section where all the shops advertise , theres some real smart stuff about but it all boils down to cost and what you want spend on it really , at least most of the tunes will be free apart from the ones where you need to hit beatport etc , happy hunting ...oh and put me on the list for your first nu-funk mix ill have some of that phones: :D

Wow 180 quid not much cash these days my vci300 was near 600!!! Although you won't be able to do any if ya funky scratching on this due to the lack of high resolution platters but the demo dint look to bad on there.

All you need is a snide version of some dj software and your off.
