discogs vs ebay ??

Noticed that records on Ebay are priced much higher than on ogs.

Harcore uproar on Ogs £2 same tune on Ebay £5
opus 3 fine day on Ogs £1 same tune on Ebay £5

Theres loads of overpriced shite on Ebay does it sell ???

eBay does not get the best price and is really only any good for bulk sales. The benefit is that you clear the crap quickly vs fairly slow discogs sales with the agro of having to post individual records.

Regarding the eBay sellers, these records rarely sell as they are expensive however not everybody knows about ogs. I've recently removed my ogs sales to sort things out, drop the prices, introduce a lot of new stock etc. I've had 2 people actually asking for me to put the old stuff back however as per previous message I need to re estabsh postage costs too.

I agree with the OPs jist on this but I still always make ebay part of my search when Im trying to get hold of a tune, sometimes its not available on oggs and on the rare occasion its cheaper on ebay
