i know your not all knobs :)

if i was you, everytime its your lads birthday or at christmas get a card and write him a letter of how you are feeling and missing him etc......then i would keep them safe and then when he gets older and comes looking for you, you can give him those and let him see your side of the story, which will explain a whole lot moreif he can see the real emotions that you were feeling at the time :D just an idea!

Sniffing glue........again!
Something similar happened to a mate of mine, she has a little boy who is now 8 and his father has turned round and said that he does not want to see the boy anymore, even though him and his girlfriend live within a few miles of him.

She is a wonderfull mother and is always nice in trying to explain where Daddy is. Now, if Daddy had just fucked off, that would be bad enough, but he sends christmas and birthday cards, as do all his family!!!!! So twice a year after the child has been happy and fine with everything, he then gets the upset of having to think about his father again who will not see him!!!!

This poor kid hasn't got a clue whats going on at all!!

Im in the same boat as you Milenko, I have a son who's now 7, n I no longer get to see him. Its a long story, which I do not want to get into deeply.
Shes twisted mi little lads head into not likin me, I could of done the same, but I dont need to sink down to her level. Thats his mum, n in his eyes she can do no wrong, so its best left like that.
I dont believe in parents tryin to use the child against each other, even though she used him against me, n I knew it. I never retaliated, I never said a bad thing about her to my son, coz no matter what, thats still his mum. I tried never to swear in front of him, n if I did, he'd tell me off, and never raised my hand to him, n just when we were becoming proper m8's, he's gone.
There's not a day goes by that I dont think about him, but ive learnt to cope with it all now, n hopefully one day he'll come and see me n listen to my side of things n see the true picture.
Think ur self lucky u still see ur little'uns :)

Chris....ive only ever met you a few times, but i know you are a good person at heart. If you just carry on keping your baby in mind, and doing the right thing like you show you are doing in your posts, then things will change for the good my friend....I promice you

It may not be today, or for a long time....and believe me, i know how much that really hurts, but it will come right for you in the end

take care m8

Jaxxy

I dont have an kiddies and to be honest dont really intend to. My brother has a couple of lovely kiddies so for me thats the continuation of the family line. Part of my reason on taking the stance that i dont want kiddies , comes from reasons that are probably a bit depressing/heavy to mention in this thread , and i can see a lot of Joy and love mentioned by most of you  . I love interacting with kids and sometimes i think, maybe i could one day have them with my Mrs. But at this moment my better half and myself share the same view points. As sad as it seems , i get a great deal of pleasure and love out of my cats , people say thats a poor substitute , but i say love is love  . One thing I dont believe , that has been mentioned is "the reason of existence is to pro-create" thats to easy an answer for me !

Yep, being the olde fashioned sod that I am I got married first lol.
My lad will be 6 later on this year and from day one was a complete handful - very light sleeper constant feeding etc - probably the fact why we won't be having anymore. he gets competely spoilt and acts it most of the time with his funny little tantrums. From an early age we've pushed him on reading, writing and maths and is constantly top in his class on all three. We also make sure he gets sport under his belt he goes swimming once and week and he's currently being footy training by classes run by Watford FC.

Anyways heres a picture of turps jr.
