Apart from the tits this is shit to my ears ?

Many scratch routings I listen to on youtube seem to be the scratch equivalant of prog rock... just meandering pointless noodling that detracts from the music rather than enhances it....

Or am I just getting old ?

When are these gonna get into the 21st century and start using Ableton,, do these peeps mnot know vinyl is dead:$

Oh you'd have her crab scratching all night for sure given the chance!

I'm still not talking to you shooms for that funking 'badger badger badger' mind implantation stunt you pulled yesterday.

I had to bleach my mind last night!!!! :S :D

+1.
I think you've got to look outside the scratching champs now see the more musical side of turntablism these day. More often than not the people in the DMC's these days just do a loads of scratches/juggles because they're hard and complicated which 9 out 10 usually sound very un-musical or just crap.
I think if you want to see the more musical side your best of checking out people like Ricci Rucker, Mike Boo, D - Styles and local champion DJ Woody, etc. I find these guys and a few others are really good when it comes to combining good technique, and technology whilst keeping it sounding good and pushing the boundries a bit more.
