Word of advice, it depends where the dog is whether youd want it or not cos theres some proper rough bastards around on the QT. lol. No offence to Colne dwellers like.
Ps, be prepared for traffic Chaos cos the town planners around there have a 'one way' and 'traffic calming measure' FETISH - which means they like to squeeze 95% of the areas traffic around three main routes in thier infinate wisdom and then place tricky one way routes and bumps, chicanes out in the middle of nowhere too!. This usually means aggro and back ups for miles, especially around the Colne Valley Road and main town centre road at peak times.....as its one way, you cant get out.
Hmmn, wouldnt advise hanging around the estates too long either if your not a fellow crack dealing, old granny robbing, fireworks through the letterbox cretin

Ps, Id just like to add that Colne and its surrounding areas are as exciting as watching a whelk try and do backstroke in a tupperware box - on second thoughts, not even as exciting as that....... If your thinking of going there to have a look round whilst youre there, forget it, youre wasting your time cos its pathetic.
