I remember the first kollision party put on in 1990 at civic Hall Wolverhampton. Myself and four other friends went because we were meant to go to HAC in Manchester if my memory serves me right looool !🫠😃😉 only went to this one and your bang on brother it was quite unique for the size of it at that time in 90 Wolverhampton. I remember Neil macey playing aswell as Lee fisher. Scott and I think boy wonder from leeds werehouse might have been on the flyer aswell. I remember coaches there I think which brought fellow party goers from up north. Manchester, Leeds ect as I remember a chap from Leeds with a big shaggy acid perm asking me if I was on one yet and to be careful because the door people were confiscating everybody's E'S on the door. You know those two big flights of stairs steve directly above the front entrance doors. Well when we got in we walked to the top of them and peered down and you could see all the different types of E'S on a table which had been taken of people. Great night though blinding sounds very typical of that period of the scene. Network records sounds take me back. Warp record sounds like TRICKY DISCO, NIGHTMARES ON WAX, and like you said LFO, D SHAKE NEIL HOWARDS , TO BE OR NOT TO BE. I remember cleos because In 1990 when I was nineteen I went to ask the promoter a very chilled out tall chap, can't remember his name now but I asked him for the chance to play one night which he kindly let me do one night as a warm up before si came on and played. Like I say I was very young but they gave me the confidence to go on further. Some years later I did the cleopatras which used to be that back room . Mostly though I ended up playing up north. I remember those breathless nights which DJ dick. Neil macey, Lee fisher did at snobs Birmingham and there better way nights aswell with weatherall and fabio paras. Do you remember those early illegal acid house nights called RAW at that disused cricket stadium in Hall green Birmingham. They were good u toll the old bill stopped the second one and it all kicked off and we all ended up on bar beacon trying our best to avoid getting arrested 🫠😃 special times brother !
