downloading attatchments

When i get an email with an attatchment it wont let me download it(it also happens with old emails with attatchments in my inbox???

U using outlook express and the attached file is blanked out when you try to open it ?

If so youve installed service pack 2

Tools and I think its under security theres a box ticked not to allow potential attachments to be opened, untick it and apply

What email u using outlook? If so there is a security setting on options have a look and uncheck that box.

Hope that help`s if not get the crow bar out.

everything is as you say, but still no attatchments

ok, why cant you download attachments from hotmail, what does it say when you try ?

It doesnt say anything,when i go to my inbox and click on an email with an attatchment i can read the text that the sender has written,then ill click attatchments,then it says download file? i then click on it and it makes a sound when i click on it but nothing happens.

It was sound when i last used it,cant understand it mate its a total head fuck.

no worries, if you get propper stuck you can always install VNC and ill connect to your PC and have a look for you.
