Is this the correct order?: 1) remove all data I wanna keep over the network... 2) Install BootMagic or use FDISK on a Win98 Floppy 3) (Im not sure how it happens, but there must be an obvious option to create partitions during Fdisk(?) so I do that bit) 4) Switch off the computer after formatting 5) Get a win98se Cd and reboot with it in the CDR, input the code off the side of my tower 6) When thats finished......ermmm....hell I dunno. I have no idea what DCHP or a domain controller is mate :S . We run an IBM with Windows2000 server edition on over a rj45 type cable around five pc's. There are passwords set on the IBM and I think everyone has a number such as 192.168.0.05 or whatever, but Im a bit of a noob when it comes to this stuff. I may not get time tomorrow anyway, but its in dire need of being sorted out cos I get programs hanging, random blue screen of deaths, and sometimes the monitor 'clicks' out of nowhere and I get MASSIVE dialog boxes like you get in safe mode and it wont let me change the screen set up slider bar to a higher resolution :S . All in all, its pretty fubar'd and doing my swede in. Cheers bud Sirius.
