DVD discs - why would anyone use DVD - ?

What's the difference between - & + discs pls...

Tried copying a DVD last night for Barrie Jay (eventually :$ ) & apparently the disc I am trying to copy is DVD - & the only discs I have are DVD +

DVD-R's are more compatible with stand alone DVD players.

When I've used DVD+'s they have had errors so I stuck to DVD-R's

there is no diff.

+r is more modern thus used in newer tower versions if it isn't dual


so no diff. in quality what you burn is what you can.
