DVD playback

what format is best to burn a video onto a dvd that will playback on my dvd player ?

i downloaded xilisoft and the new version has got so many different settings i am completly lost on what to use ???? any help appreciated

Try a proggy called ConvertXtoDVD by VSO...converrts jus about everything to DVD and is a piece of piss to use
