Nice review Debs  Got to the Tin Angel about 8:30 and it wasnt long before Alex and Deb joined us. It wasnt the best place to meet as it is a poky little venue but its an interesting little place with a fairly alternative crowd which i thought might add something to the night.Everyone in there was pretty friendly so it wasnt any problem. Once everyone had turned up there we made our way down to the club. I was impressed by the size of the place - i really didnt think it would be that big. The first room was strictly drum and bass and could have easily held about 700 people. Upstairs was bigger and was where the oldskool was. Drink prices were reasonable and the (stoodent) bar staff did a good job. The decor was strictly 'nightclub' with lots of pinks and greys but no-one seemed to mind. I suppose it might have been better if theyd have killed the lights and just gone for a dark room, smoke, lazer, strobe and flower strobe.. like it used to be, but again, no-one seemed to mind :) Heard some great tracks being played and once top buzz came on the volume increased by another 10% which wasnt a problem. Overall, a good night for £11.
