Dunno if any 1 can throw some ligt on my little prob . .

8 of my keys on my laptop ave stopped workin wich is causin me a reet ead ache . lol as ya can imagine . . funny tig is its two on each line all nnext to each oter ????and all der each oter . . onl way i can tell a wic it is >

keys betwen > 5 & 8
keys betwen > t & i
keys betwen > g & k
keys betwen > b & <

weird as cos te were all fine esterda ??? :(

any ideas ppl ???

or is it a take to te sop ad get fixed ???

what type of laptop is it ?

Can you get in device manager and delete the keyboard drivers and reboot it, windows will install the keyboard drivers automatically ??

failing that a clean install or repair windows from the xp cd ?

You need to turn off the numeric pad on your lappy, you must have turned it on by mistake. If you look at the keys that aint working they will have numbers on em too! look at the function keys at the top for the button to turn it off, you will prob have to press the function key at the same time too.

well cheers fer the advice ppl . . . havent spilt owt on it ( or not to my knowledge anyway ) think i may ave to keep it away on mash ups from now on . . . .

ave took the keys off and cleaned it , ( bust 1 in the process mind u twattting thing refused to come off . lol but it goes back on , thank fek . .

they all work again now ( not properly mind u ) have to really push em in using the very bottom of the key its self , quite fekin annnoyin like but its better than not workin at all . . . . . .
