Hi Peeps,

Every so often when I close Win XP I get a blue screen with the error "BAD POOL CALL ERROR" I dunno what it is and google doesn't throw much help up either - upon restarting you get the usual windows has recovered from a serious error:confused:

Any ideas what this error could mean?

Andy

In a world of my own
try registry cleaner and windows update, failing that, your searching through the drivers one by one mate lol

could try uninstalling the last bit of kit you put on if it has been put on recently and try it without that, then you know where your problem is

saying that cam - I had to install an ethernet card - some reason when the bloke came from NTL to upgrade my set top box for the 2mb connection could be coincedence, but my ethernet port on me mobo failed there and then.
Know anyone with a spare 487pin 800fsb mobo I could borrow whilst mine goes back to gigabyte? LOL.
