I think alot of it has to do with "Price perceived value" Ohhh that cream is £100, it MUST work!!!!

I find the dearer stuff is much better. Not the stupidly dear stuff, like Creme de la Mer...but a nice cream from Estee Lauder or somthing...and my face has never felt cleaner than when Ive used Clinique three step, although my teachers at college were dead against it.

I just find that in cheaper things...the product is "watered" down, some are good...but when I have the money, I'll get myself to the department store and get in the beauty bit...spend spend spend baby!

i used 2 use clinque 3 step and got told aswell to stop using it , must admit i didnt like the soap it smelt like the soap you used to have at school , and creme de la mer is well worth the money not that i could spend all that money on a big pot of the stuff but did get a small pot , looked like i had been shafted my face was glowing for hours , lol .

and as for space nk , i love that shop , spend hours in there love stila products .

Hahaha...it's hard these days, with the millions of products to sift through till you find that "perfect-I cant do with out this EVER" product...even word of mouth isn't that good (appart from macara-btw...anyone know a really good one?) As everyone needs different stuff!

Oh, and I'd also like to add. Touch eclat is sooooo not the wonder product it's mad out to be! The best ever concealer i have EVER used...was a Helena Rubenstein "Magic Concealer" I lost it once at a mashup, and they don't retail in the UK anymore!!!! GUTTED!

Also, whats the best Foundation you have ever used??? Mine was estee Lauder one, cant remember the name...it was such a good coverage, but sooooooo hard to get off!!! That was more a winter foundation anyway, it was heavy as ken...

Well, know you know how I feel, when you're all going on about catalog numbers and obscure tunes from 1982 n sheet

Can't live without My benefit "Dandylion" its ace!

Any sort of concealer...estee lauder do a good one, but im still totally pining for my magic concealer...can not find one as good.

estee lauder "Double wear!

Also, pixi have a shit load of really good make up pallets.

Any of my mac eyeshadows! the pigment is soooo concentrated, and it doesn't get caught in the crease of your eye!

Dermalogica - Anti bac face wash...although, i don't really like their other products...all the ingredients are natural, and are not watered down!

For foundation I used Bourjois 'en toute legerete' its nice and fine and you only need a little of it:D I buy most of my cosmetics from either virgin or bourjois and I also buy clinique.
Just bought a new mascara - i bought the Rimmel volume extend ive only used it a couple of times and im not sure i like it as much as the coup de theatre one that bourjois do but ill give it a go cos i aint binning it.:S

For getting rid of makeup I use the Boots cucumber facial cleansing wipes. Find these just as good as any of the pricey ones on the shelf:D

Body lotion is loreal nutrilift and i like it loads - it dont make my skin greasy like some lotions. Face creams is nivea - ive started using the Q10 range and so far so good and also clinique (cant go wrong with clinique and an especially good time to buy is BONUS TIME!!! yipeeeeee)

Yeah that clinique stuff is good!
I have that but only use it on special occasions because im poor and use loads when i cleanse my face. lol
I use loreal pure zone skincare daily......keeps the blemishes away

I think its probably wise to invest in a good and tad more expensive foundation.........but ive had cheap and expensive lippys, eyeshadows etc. and dont care long as the colour is nice :)

Agreed, it's the one thing if any you should splurge a bit on!

oui! i have a cheap one in my vanity case in case of emergencies!!! but i have tried colour adapt......which is alright, and that estee lauder equaliser one is dead good for covering up spots and stuff. Makes me sad though, whenever I go buying one......they always go 'my god! you are pale arent you?' when they try and give me colour advice, and i come away feeling a bit sad lol

Because everyone is dead shocked by it! I havnt actually been able to find a foundation which is the same colour as my skin or even close. I like to wear heavy eye make up.....and so it only accentuates my paleness. People think tanned people look more attractive too.
