Heres a selection of the reviews, In my opinion defo worth tracking down for Evo? Man Tyree Cooper's set was mindblowing!! I danced my socks off!!! That Chicago style of MCing over the tracks, is awesome ... just works so well! And what a track selection.... hardly any repeats either for the whole night! Heard loads of corkers: Phuture - We are Phuture Ecstacy Club - Jesus Loves The Acid Bam Bam - Where's your child Homeboy, Hippe & Funki Dred - Total Confusion N-Joi - Malfunction What more is there to say?! Oh yeeeah ACIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED It was a DJ set. Wicked underground acid music from (my slightly blurred) memory. Well I've got a clip of him on my phone playing something really bleepy that sounds like Unique 3! I was surprised how varied all the sets were - and how the DJs complimented each other so well. Such a shame the big old skool nights get it so wrong with regard to this! Tyree Cooper was spinning some mad tracks, and MCing various classic lyrics - including the Jungle Brothers I'll House You and so forth. Between this night, Squarepusher's 4 hour old skool marathon the other week, plus seeing Maxx DJ in the old cinema, I can honestly say I've been spoilt for outstanding OS sets recently. _________________
