There's a voting thread in here about Yeke Yeke - surely one of Hardfloor's best remixes. So that got me asking..

What is your favourite Hardfloor production track or remix?

The epic ACPERIENCE will always always be top of my list - the first time I heard this my brian nearly leaked out my head :fekked: :| :fekked:

I have always enjoyed playing Yeke Yeke out coz it gets great results. Another favourite is the remix of Human Leagues - Filling up With Heaven. Another typical Hardfloor style remix - but it works.

So what's your fav?

Cheers,
Si

Im blinkered on this as I cant stand that Ac.. tune (look I cant even say or spell it :S ) As soon as I see hardfloor mix on a tune I tend to switch off. They murdered the scene a bit for me (along with Mentasm - for that noise)as the barrage of tunes that followed with the drum roll build was just too much to handle.

Love Hardfloor's stuff, pretty much ALL of it, as they are the new masters of the 303 - jear :king:

It is true their remixes became very formulaic, but like a lot of remixers, it was a 'style' people wanted at the time, so they churned them out loads.

It was them who first created the 32 bar drum roll fill in (I think) - so a little unfair to blame them for it, as people often imitate what they like ;)

I love the Blue Monday remix, Yeke Yeke as well, think they still sound fresh.

Agree with lippiatte about DM's It's No Good, a belter that :D

Also love these...

Mahogany Roots
Into The Nature
Lost In The Silverbox

& ALL their stuff under the name Dadamnphreaknoizphunk, slow-mo hip hop beats with acid, mmmm

Their best remix of all for me personally was The Realm

Their best production has to go to Acperience, it's the one I always reach for

I did think about that when I wrote it but I decided that they didnt then have to do it for every tune they put out  :D ;)

Im going to stop posting on this subject before I start ranting about how sh*te they are... long live hardfloor and the 50p bargain bin. ;)

PS apologies Simon... this thread was about what your fav hardfloor tune was .... not what do you think of them... it just they are not one of my favorties :condom:

Hey Dreamgirl! I've no problem with you goin off on one about Hardfloor - if we all liked the same thing the world would all be beige! There are plenty of artists that are popular that I think are pants - don't get me started on Basement Jaxx!

Thanks for sharing your 2pence worth.

Dont forget Bassheads-Is there anybody out there? Better than the original IMO

I also like the remix of Sourmash-Pilgramige to paradise, as well as baby doc-Mantra to the buddha.

Acperience, Yeke Yeke, and Fever called love are all monumental classics.
