after missing out on buying my tickets at $69
we got ours for $150
got in to the event at 2pm (11am-11pm)
it was already packed by 4pm over 20,000 people had crammed in to the domain
in the midday sun of 32 it was just a bit damn hot to dance
although the fuzzy residents
where playing some belters
mark farina a 'BIG' san francisco dj
was next up, some weird sh1t but danceable
and 'BIG' he was only 5ft tall with a nottingham forest top on???
zinc was just too damn hard for 2.30 in the afternoon
although the 10 mins i danced it was awesome
yousef played a mellow (some may say 'DULL')
2 hours
although a few remixed house anthems where slammed in
inc. the rather good remix of strings of life
next up 'THE S MAN'
well he's still wearing his trademark kangol hat
(sort it out roger)
excellent set
loadsa classics (esp. the M@W/sanchez back cat) and pumping house all the way
next up groove armada
a dj / mc collaboration
god they where good
dropping a few raves numbers inc bizarre inc
the mixing spot on
although superstylin was played rather a few too many times
and the 3 girls with me, on hearing 'billie jean' went nutzs
although they mixed it out before it begun
gutted
big tunes of the day
white stripes
bizzarre inc playing with knifes
everybody be somebody

dare i say it 'superstylin'

krafty kuts played a final 30 mins 6 deck blizzard
and legendary hiphop pioneer
curtis blow 'the breaks'
ran on stage in his red trakkie to pump out some hits
'motown... ho town.... holiday inn'
'party..... say party'
we then set off home
got the last ferry to manly
god that ferry had some pretty messed up people on
including myself.....
