Panic Room is pretty good. You can get it on Region 1 but its the superbit edition so you don't get any extras. The Region 2 release is due out very soon with a whole host of extras.

It like a comedy style thriller... bit like Lethal Weapon style. I thought it was excellent... good humour, good edge of your seat stuff. But I must stress its not a comedy... but parts will make you laugh.

The film is based around a Panic Room. A woman and her daughter move into a new house which has a panic room... which is impentrable to burglars. On the first night, the son of the previous owner turns up with some thugs to retrive something the previous owner (who died) hid in the house.

Good story, good characters, the end wasn't so great but all in all a great film. Its a kinda "things goes from worse to worse" for both burglars and victims.

Fraility was good, but I thought the film was going to go one way but it went another. Enjoyed it tho... its out now (region 1)

Probably not going to see much this week cause my season 2 box set of stargate has turned up :)

Scratch is really good... My recommendations are... if you like the whole scratching thing then sit through the full 1 1/2 hours. If you just interested watch 45mins then leave cause you learn nothing new and just see more scratching.

IMHO.. it owns if you like that sort of thing. First 45 mins are quite informative, especially learning that everyone states "Rockit" as their reason for being scratch gods.

O aye :D I well want to see Scratch shame no where around here is showin it(uncultured musical bleeders) anyone seen it/got it on V-Cd?

Its about to be released on DVD but I saw it at the cinema... it seems to be only showing on the independent cinema's or the one's that show foriegn films.

Heh Tigger :) Seen Taxi, not seen Taxi 2. Mad film... like the way his car turns into a rocket :)

Is Taxi 2 better than the first?

Ben... I kid you not, the scratching ability of these feckers leaves you feeling like a beginner. Before I watched this movie I always considered myself quite good as scratching but nooo... the depression I felt within the first 5 mins of the movie nearly made me leave ;)

And you would not believe the tune collections of some of this guys. It puts the guys in the Tune ID section to shame. I think it was DJ Shadow's collection... oh my god !!!
