I voted Peter Kay.

Ever since i saw that johns smiths ad when in the restuarant i have like his humour.

Got all his Vd's and love Phoenix Nights.

"its not wat it looks like" "its not wat it looks like its a ten foot cock and balls man looks like nowt else"

LMFAO :D

Would love to see him live too but not had the chance yet:cry:

Peter kay wares a bit thin after a bit. You would have to go for billy connolly out of that group. The guy is an absolute genious and he has got a heart of gold as well. Personally I would have to say that Steve Coogan is possibly the funniest comedian about

Conolly is the man, he's a genius. He can just babble abolute bollocks and have me in stitches and I reckon by now I've seen about 10 different live shows or vids and he's never done the same stuff, every time it's been new material. and had the same effect.

After seeing the newest Peter Kaye DVD over Chrimbo I'm kind of liking his style now, although that could have been down to the mad professor bong we were testing out.

Thats a bit of a bold statement Nath. I know Ricky Gervais is not funny one bit, even the office is overrated but Peter Kay and Chubbs must have made you laugh.
They are not the best comedians about though, just look at people like the late bob monkhouse and bill hicks, these were quality comedians.

Sniffing glue........again!
Why is Roy 'you can f@ck right off' chubby brown even included in a comedians poll???????????

Billy Connelly has stood the test of time and will always be a great comedian, Peter Kay is the man of the now, he is very funny and i hope he stays around for a long time to come. I like Ricky Gervais but i havent seen his stand up video so i don't know about that.

Best one I`ve seen live was Peter Kay but still not as funny as Emo Philips live - He`s the best ever IMO.

I bought Ricky Gervais`s stand up on DVD just before crimbo and it was ok. Not the best but good.
Got the video of Dave Spikey (the white haired bloke from phoenix nights - "Gay Satan" lol) to watch too which should be good.

Can Chubby Brown be removed from the options? Wasnt he just a reject from the grumbleweeds?

i think ricky gervais is mildly amusing, he was funny on the comedy awards but the office is poo, so not funny!

dave spikey one is alright gets funny in the 2nd half

the best one is the one off the advert...

ere mate, how do you get to the JJB stadium???

my brother takes me!!........LMFAO

its the Kay man hands down for me, if u saw him live u will appreciate how quick his humour is and how he rips the audience to bits!

although i agree with tez (good old british name ;) ) al murray is funny as feck, gets absolutely bladdered whilst rippin the ppl in the audience all nite and usin that as his act :)
