just made me feel a bit festive. At work with colleagues praying that the darkness wasn't going to be xmas number one. Then they go this is the closest between number one and two for a xmas number one and they played the intro to darkness and we were jumping around and i had goose bumps and all. Best xmas number one in a long time. Can't believe proper crimbo only made number 5 though

Indeed, I was all for him getting it, on another forum far far away, people were shouting about "how good the Darkness have been all year, and they've worked so hard they deserve it!" - such rubbish, I disagree, I think the song should be judged on the merits of that song alone, wether the person/band have done well/worked hard all year shouldn't be relevant.
