Well 2 weeks in and im still alive and still the same person thus far. An amazing city, amazing people and starting to put roots down including securing work which I start on Monday. One of the best things with Brisbane....they still have record shops! Spent some time yesterday looking through one in Fortitude Valley with the guy very interested in swapping or buying any of my doubles (will have to think long and hard about that). There seems to be a good vibe for the music around the city too which is nice although yet to go out to any of the clubs to experience their interpretation of retro.
Once we are settled at our new address I have permission to break open the record boxes and have a little play for the first time in months. Best thing I did was to record most to wav and put on a small wd hd so I can at least listen to them whilst they are on a ship somewhere (hopefully).
