G'day up over from down under

Hello there ,

Finally I'm here yayyyyy ! arrived in Brisbane Tuesday night, was exhausted looooooong flight and hadn't slept properly for 4 nights before I set off, tried to have a kip on the plane and felt myself mouthing words and nodding my head having an imaginary convo with someone hehehehe so made myself stay awake didn't want to risk sleep talking, I was sooooo tired!!!

Coping alright with the heat, didn't think I would. The people here are so friendly! must be a combination of great weather and great scenery! There's a man made laguna in the middle of the city it's fab, sandy beach bbq area's and skyscrapers in the backgound gonna be spening xmas day on the goldcoast, that will feel mad bbq on the beach spending the day sunbathing and swimming instead of turkey n telly.

There was a fab storm the other night and after it had finished there was a kangaroo about 20ft from the bedroom window with a joey in it's pouch . There are beetles in the trees that make tonnes of noise and loadsa crickets and geckos, they don't half move fast those geckos! and there are scary stuff too, red backs (bad spiders) in the back garden and they sometimes drop in the pool so will have to watch out! and fire ants that bite and make you feel immense pain, yayyyyy !

Friends bought me a fab leaving pressie, a nano ipod!!!!! how lucky am I! not got a clue how to use it yet but well chuffed with it! treated myself to one o those camera's with a printer yesterday so I can sit n take pics of sunrises n sunsets till my hearts content. Gonna stay in Bris a few months n then meet up with a friend in Sydney and do some travelling with her. Oooooooo this is so much nicer than life's been for a while, was worth the wait

Thanks Jordon , Hiya Jiglo, our Autumn or Autumn here ? either way yep get yaself over here sure you'll love it. Four of my friends spent a year out here travelling they're all back home now, they all loved it, felt awful yesterday one of the lads emailed me he'd been looking at properties to rent in Sydney said it made him feel homesick he wants to come and live out here so is saving up again and one of the girls that's just got back plans to get back out here around June. She's much braver than me though, she did it alone started off in Thailand then Oz then Hong Kong so she's telling me I have to do the same know she's right, know I'll get a lot out of it and you're never on your own as there are so many doing the same and in the same boat but I think I'll wait till me friend gets here and then meet up with her, too scared to just go it alone .

Thanks Mesh , I will do, everyone's making plans for me (sisters friends) they all love it so much they're already asking me if I'm gonna stay! . There's a guy from Plymouth met him last time I was here, he's a very funny guy and he builds boats and he's taking me out sailing in the next few weeks (just a mate he's married to my sisters friend, but told him to keep me in mind for any incredibly wealthy, available and of course gorgeous friends he has that I might like hehe)

Hiya Str33tboy, thanks am enjoying it, looking forward to meeting some buds my age to go out with. There's one girl that my sis works with that comes from right near where I lived as a kid in Salford, she keeps asking my sis to get me to ring her just so she can hear the accent cos she's missed it, sis said she's a good laugh so looking forward to meeting her.

Couple of good clubs for ya to check out. The monastery and family. Both are ace. The outdoor bit upstairs in monastery is ace in summer

my family used to live in oz before i was born, in melbourne, till my mum was ten.

always wanted to go!! am thinkin i'm gonna go travellin when i finish my degree, but i think i would b too scared to go alone too!!!
