It split my mum and dad up and this year killed my father. I tried everything to stop him drinking. I even moved in with him to try and support him but in the end we ended up fighting and arguing that much it nearly turned me to drink so i had to leave. My advice to anyone who has to deal with this is its there life and you cant do anything abut it, even if they stop they will always go back to it. You just have to be there and face up to the fact that in the end there is nothing you can do. A very hard lesson to learn at an early age but i swear i will never put my kids (when i have any) through wat me and are kid have been through.Andy</blockquote>
