I feel very close to my grandma...even though she died when I was 11. The older I get, the more I see that we are very alike. I know that she is there, I talk to her sometimes, sometimes the actual physicality of somthing isn't what a "spirit" is. I believe it is that connection you have to a person, where you could not explain it to anyone else... ALSO...why do people only ever report ghosts at night btw??? Is it because ur senses are hightened because of the lack of daily hustle and bussel?? Or just because of the high suggestability people have been socialised into??? Surely peoples spirits should not be a scary thing???? So why the association with night time? just to add drama??? That is sooooo a victorian view...I just think it adds more fuel for a skeptic tbh... Maybe, because, as your falling asleep (or in a relaxed state of consiousness) our realities...overlap. Where is ur mind? Where the fuck are you when ur asleep? Where does your consiousness go when you die? There are many levels of consiousness, we will never know. Whenyou dream, you are at ur most free...no socialisation has any effect in there...thus why dreams are really wrong sometimes i think... I think "ghosts", could possibly be a collection of dense unused energy that mirrors it's actions that it did in life. The soul of the person, has nothing to do with a physical form of any kind in my belief (that is)... The spirit, is how someones everything, still has an effect on those who were touched by it. This is why I feel close to my grandma...even after all these years, and not realy knowing stuff untill now. It just fits in nicely. I know this could just be a comfort thing. But it's like when u have a pet, and you are both completely different species, but, without words...you both know, that you both know the score. It's sort of like that. A mad connection, where there is no words... I wouldn't doubt that people have seen things. But there is a LOT of charlitans, who do no favours for anyone!!! If you believe, you believe...and bollocks to proof if you have no doubts. It's totally personal I think.
