Right i popped my Gin cherry last night so to speak, and after finding the first few mouthfulls horrid, i got quite a taste for it. I had it in the trad sense, that is with tonic, ice and lemon, I was curious if there is anything else you can do with it, like cocktails.

I have Tequila, Southern Comfort and Tripple Sec in the house.

Anyone know of a different way to drink it other than in the housewife style of G+T?

3 parts gin
1 part cherry brandy
top up soda water
1/2 part lemon juice
4 ice cubes
1 Maraschino Cherry

or

A Lesbian Handygirl (straight up!)

1 part gin
1 part vodka
1 teaspoon lime juice
top up Red Bull

Oh yes u will, ur a closet gin guzzler ain't u but it's gotta b mixed with juice tho!! Still dannster went 1 better on the gin stakes he tried 2 take it thro his eye & boy I wish we'd got a photo cos his expression was priceless!!

P.S. tis me fav tipple, goes take a bit of gettin used 2 but once u have u can't get enouff!!

Right update on the Gin front......

Gin Slings are bloody lovely, sort of taste like a really nice sparkling flave spring water, and not at all alcholic, even though there is 3 shots in, with the added bonus of a cherry in the bottom of the glass. Was going to go the whole hog and wear a shoulder padded suit and back come my hair with insette and get some umbrellas to go in there but forgot.

For all Gin fans Tesco has an offer on, a litre of Gordans for 11 quid, and Nath triple sec is available at asda stores for the bargain price of crisp ten spot
