Hi gang. Im noogie and I absolutely love this music. Im a bit older these days but oldskool is played in my house all the time. What got me into it? Maybe Spain in 88ish and S Express was a bit different then, but ive grown up on OMD and all syth bands, plus my mums disco collection 
I really got into it when I heard the intro to DJ Professor's "Rock Me Steady" and I never really looked back from then. I have my own perfect playlist with the tunes I hunted high and low for, but i'm missing one or two. Remember getting a tape and no track lists? I might need a few brains to help me out, but I've got some good tunes myself and my type of music is stuff like Bass Value, Part E, Mix Factory, MC Fear. Oldskool is better than this shit whats out now and it really should have been kept sacred!
