Went on a sailing ship so that made it great fun, water was choppy as so we were going up and down like a pirate ship, loved it!. When we got out on the reef nearly everyone got in the water to snorkel (no way I was getting in it was too rough) but even the strong swimmers were being pulled back in the dinghys the water was going over their heads and down the snorkels. Stayed in Cairns with them for a week then we hired a car and went up to the Daintree rainforest and to Cape Tribulation. Daintree was beautiful, we went on the river, we were really lucky we got there at 4.30 all the tourists were leaving and we had a big boat to ourselves and the funniest guide, saw lots of wild crocs. Now I don't know why, maybe I'm just weird hehe, but I wanted to stick me hand in the water so badly just to see a croc come and jump up, needless to say I restrained myself or I'd be typing this with one hand . Went jungle surfing, 250 ft up in the rainforest on a harness flying through the trees. Can't believe I did it! at the last one you have to (well don't have to but get bullied into) going upside down. I hung upside down by my ankles but wouldn't let go, I couldn't, you know you're not gonna fall but I just couldn't let go I was too scared. Missed a bit, when we were in Cairns (the last day of the bus trip) our busload went to a pub together for a meal, cheap drinks and games. There was a goldfish race, they have an auction you bid on the fish and then have races. I won Nemo he was Australia, and I won every race yayyyyyyyyyyy. You have a long thin tank and you get behind your fish with a straw and blow, I won a white water rafting trip from blowing a goldfish wooooooooooohooooooooo hehehe . Was gonna sell it but decided to be brave and adventurous and really glad I did it. Went in a two man raft on the Russell river, and because I was on my own on the trip got put in with one of the instructors, so it was easy peasy

We came back to Cairns for our last night together, my friends set off to Sydney and I set off back down the coast to Airlie Beach, spent all September there.

Sadly though my holidays have to now end, got 2 month (well less) left before I'm due to fly home.
