I live in Heald Green near the airport mate, its great as I get to hear a plane goin over my house every couple of minutes. What a top noise that is!!!!!

Yeah, they do peck a bit but it aint too bad when ya get used to it. The mad thing is though, that sometimes and just sometimes if you stand in the back garden when one goes over you get a mad swirling wind noise (LIKE A FEKKIN TYPHOON) that follows it a couple of seconds after its gone.

Its probobaly got some sort of name but we call it aftermath and its mint if your stood there fekked after getting back from a night out!!!!

now that sounds like fun. il have 2 come n sample "the aftermath" sumtime mate ive got used 2 bein mangled near the top floor of tonksis flat it aint as breathtakin no more although we do find things to amuse r selves like spittin on cars - the man like ben fisher is currently the champion grebber with 3 hits in a run :thumbsup:

I didnt mate, I cant see the pm box anywhere tonight which is odd. Also, can you make it so I am logged in when I come onto the board in future (Like i WAS BEFORE) Cos I am gettin a new laptop at the weekend and it'll only be me using it so its ok!!

Maybe I have got the pm and there is just some prob with it.

Ahhh i dont live too far from Heald Green....got mates there and used to go to the Cheadle Royal pub many a time...dont any more cuz its pretty w**k!!! I live in withington.

Your description of the Cheadle Royal is absolutely spot on. Have you ever been to the Bulls Head in Handforth though, Thats my local and it used to be alright...but....then they decided to completely fek it up and now its full of old swedes wearing sportsmans jackets and smoking ceeeeegars!!!!
