ritey ho then, I shall rite the GT review......

Retro was well and truely fooked at this one, hope SJ has put up the pics of him she took so I'm not surprised he's not written one yet!!

The club was quiet at first but Ben and Danny played a mint B2B set and it got pretty busy (the busiest I've seen it yet, so onwards and upwards ) I loved the sets after theirs but the dude after him (or was it after.... hell, i duno, was fucked by this point!!! ) playin the downstairs stuff upstairs was a bit of a let down as its not really my cup of tea!

didn't get to c eddy & bens b2b set (which was apparetly amazin) and my liftage wanted to go!!!

Atmosphere was gr8 even tho there wasn't as many of the regulars as usual there but the mash-up back at Bens was still mad as ever with grand-father clocks bein made.... shall say no more!!!

roll on sept GT bday..... should B a blinder, can't w8..... by the way, prob not the best review as I'm still recoverin from this heavy w/e!!!:S NICE ONE!!! x

P.S as ever Retro was supposed to have footy on sunday and dint end up goin, what a surprise, eh Andy..... NOT!!!! (i think u should give it up and stop pretendin that ur actually gona do some footy trainin on a sunday!!!)

Yeah was a top night , the pre club bar was good again with some top tunage being pumped out from Danny once again . .

Got to play two sets at GT did a small b2b with Danny to kick the night off , then a 2 hour b2b with Eddy which was awesome ad enjoyed every minute of it ( well be doin that again soon fella ) , the place was well rockin in that first hour with a top mixture of some bad ass italian and old skool . . was busier than last month too spec upstairs which was good . . .

After party was a quiet one but still as mad as ever . .our third project with flyers and celotape has begun and stage one is complete lol , stage two and three still to go . . . . still got a sore head now tho from the wkd , prolly cos i resorted to drinkin bottles of wine to myself over sun and mon . . lol

thanks to all that came to gt ad after party , see you all at the next one . .

p.s The Goodtimes 6th Birthday is goin to be in October this Year as due to certain reasons we have had to move it back a month . . . . september event is goin to be " the residents special" and also Dannys leavin do and also little sonz birthday do . . . .

Was waiting for someone to start the ball rolling hehe I wasn't there for most of the night, so it'd be unfair for me post a major review .....

The pre-bar again was bob-on Good to see loads of yous down there early again Got to do the 1st hour again B2B with Ben which was sweeeet Remember likin' the underground mix of cartouche behind blue oyster, nice Started getting busier half way through our set, and was filling up nicely before Paul H took over the reigns from us at 11 ....... phones: Started with solo - so beutiful, top little piano tune Then i had to head off to manc in order to make Buckley's set at Evo, so thats as far as i can review things to be honest!

See yas all at the next one which should be fun fun fun!

You lost me chick lol. I cant remember saying i had training on sunday lol. I had no intentions or the abililty to do anything other than crash on bens settee all night. In fact i only moved cause someone spilt poppers on the carpet right in front of me lol.

As for the night. Me and my mate who some of you met had been out since 5 ish watching the liverpool match drinking pints of diesel all night. By the time i had finished i must have had 10 plus pints so i can be excused for the mess i was in in the club.

As for the dj's sets i cant really remember much tbh. I know that shaun c had a bunch of retro type oldskool which i didnt think would have gone down too well in there with the gt mash eds but he prolly needed to have visited a few times before to get the vibe of the place.

I caught a bit of ste and cano rocking the downstairs bit and also part of Jd Smiths set. I can slightly rememeber the place being rammed and everyone jumping about but thats about it.

Was a top night but wish i could remember more. Was intending on going swimming for Chez's birthday but glad i didnt know as i was in no fit state lol.

Next month wont be so bad as i am busy through the day and prolly playing for a bit in the bar so i wont be getting half as drunk as this week.

Not quite decided yet but thinking of packing in sunday morning football too as playing both days is getting harder each week. So might be frequenting bens more often but we will see.

Got there for 12 for the place nice and busy was itching to get on the decks for some of the new tuna ive got. Then ben suggested the last two hours b2b shaun c was on before us and playing remakes of old tunes like last rhythm etc Then me and ben came on and was absolutly quality everyone was proper having it and it was really busy, we played a harder set and I think it was noice as the crowd really liked it,nice one ben. Went back to bens and really wanted to get mashed but had responsibilities the next day so went home after an hour or so. It doesnt matter tho cos next gt's ive got the monday off and guna have it large jeaarrrr.

First of all...big shout to ben for another top GT

The journey to GT started of a bit slow!!! Had a huge convoy (supposedly) settin off. Consisiting of Me, Vee, Lil' sonz, Milenko, Ste, Dannst and cano!!!

Time to set off 7:30 lol. Ended up bein...Me, Vee, Lil' sonz and cano settin off at 9:30...tut, tut to Milenko... ya big gay trampy homo....lol

got to GT about 10ish just in time to hear just_danny playin another absolutely wicked set!!! phones: loads of cheeky little italo numbers.

Then on came Paul H who at first found it a bt difficult to actually get a drink from the bar...lol due to the fact of the nosy who decided to pay a visit for no apparant reason at all. Some mint tunes bein played by Paul with some nice zoney tunes at the end of his set (BM - Put me in a trance... )

Then the next DJ ANDY PENDLE!!!!!!! this for me was the deffo the best set of the nite (which i was there to see) playin his usual italian BEEEEEEEEEEASTS!!!! i was happily dancin away when all of a sudden he played DERRY HALL - JUST FOR THE WEEKEND!!!

WOW!!!!! phones: first time i've heard this played out at a club and it went down well....it was then followed by KC SPIRIT!!! which by this time my little head just fell reeeeeeeeeeeet off my shoulders

What a fooooooooookin set!!!!! cheers Andy!!!

By this point i was well up fer GT and the dance floor was rammed!

The rest of my nite was good from there on in.....but shaunc's setwas a bit strange for my liking and at this point it was time to go start the ever so famous GT MASH UP!!!

Which again was another great, messy success to which i am now enjoying my nice week off work on the sick, he he he he

Eddy and Ben sorry i missed ur set....i know i would of well enjoyed the Zone beasts ya would of been playin!!!

A good turn out by all... big shouts to the ppl who were there some of who were out for claire b's bday.....Happy birthday btw hun hope ya had a good un.
