yes, unreal isn't it. Google are launching a free service called Gmail that ofers users 1 gigabyte of free space. so,this says to me that 100 people here could set up 100 web based accounts with shared password access, and you would in effect have a 100 gig resource (roughly 2,500 MP3's) for tunes that everyone discusses here and likes. No more cobbling about with queing on p2p software and getting hit and miss results. GMail - Google

good innit?

Yeah I heard about this the other day. Is there any restriction on the size of files that can be sent and recieved? It would seem a tad pointless if you get a gig of space and you can only recieve 1 meg at a time. Fingers crossed!

Actually if we say 5MBs is the average size of an MP3, there would be space for 20,000 of them not 2,500

Sounds

Maybe i'm a little paranoud but you have to agree to all your incoming mail been scanned for targetted advertising. The adverts would use key words after scanning your private e-mail

Also you can't ever delete your mail. It's there forever.

Having said that i shall be using it.

If you can't delete any of your mail, then everyones gig of space will be maxed out in a week with Emails offering "magic" potions to make your penis bigger!
