It wasn't from Mr Chee Loon Tan in Malaysia that you got it was it Ste?

Jonno - that's where I've ordered mine from. Sent 11 quid DHL before Xmas - had a couple of emails to say that he's received the dosh & that the vinyl's been posted. Fingers x'd that I'll get it next week.

Unless you know anything dodgy about him...... noooooooooooooo !  :S :S

Fuckin hell Shooms, I can’t believe you sent him some money. His name is quite obviously an anagram - chee loon tan = leech’n a toon. Which is a well known Malaysian term for ripping a person off by using a quality Italian piano tune as “bait”. It’s as common as crossing the road over there. Seriously though, I just did a quick search on Netsounds and he’s got one for sale. I wouldn’t be too worried, a record’s gonna take a while to arrive from over there, although it would have probably been quicker if they were still under the steady hand of good old British rule.

It’s funny innit there’s been a load of people been after this tune for a bit, and then a few turn up at once. Mostly all tunes turn up eventually for a reasonable price if you’re willing to wait for long enough. Whilst not wishing to sound condescending or drag up that old debate, it’s something that people paying silly money for zone tunes could do well to bear in mind.

I saw a copy of this about 6 months ago in a localish shit box "Hmmn that rings a bell" I thought, and left it. Got home - "Fuck me! its that fekking tune Ive been after" hot footed it there the next day and it had gone.
Some "Record Seller/Collector" dude had swiped it apparently and given the guy double the asking price of £1!. It pisses me off that, some kunt whose only after money and doesnt even like dance music......grrrrrrrr.

Yay !! Danceing around the office like a mad thing

My copy of Laura Palmer- In the mix came today !!!:king: :king: :king: :king: :king:

Nicely packaged by Mr Chee Loon Tan from Malaysia (how the feck did this tune end up there ???).

Vinyl looks prestine & the pic sleeve is mint as (pic of Orson Welles with a little girl in a toy shop - still from some black & white movie).

I'm so happy I could shite !!:D :D
